BiBimBap – Spicy Pork Bibimbap

Hall of Slime

Mmmbop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du, yeah
Mmmbop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba du dop
Ba du bop, ba du dop
Ba du, yeah

Sorry about that. But when reading BiBimBap, the name of this Korean chain and also apparently one of Korea’s famous dishes, all that comes to mind is Mmmbop, Hanson’s ode to joy and happiness.

It’s tough for anything, let alone a dish, to be as good and timeless as Mmmbop. But BiBimBap’s Spicy Pork Bibimbap comes close. Marinated pork strips, with assorted veggies, eggs, on top of rice, and all in a very hot stone based bowl, this is a Korean delight. Plus, it’s stays warm no matter how long it takes you to eat it! Magic!

So, is it better than Mmmbop? Probably not. But nothing is better than Mmmbop. Then again, you can’t eat a song. So this will do just fine.

Slimy? Only because you’ll eat it with chopsticks and make a mess. Nobody really knows how to eat with chopsticks.

Satisfying? Bibimbap, ba duba dop!
